If you're a chess player, you may well be tired of the classic design for chess boards and pieces. Yes, black and white is traditional and very elegant... but it's a bit old now, isn't it? Why not brighten up your games with this wonderful Gothic style chess board and set.

All of the pieces have been redesigned to follow a gothic / fantasy theme - One side is Good and consists of very heroic looking pieces, and the other side is obviously Evil - it's full of ugly demons and orcs and the like. The board itself is stunning to look at too - set on a raised plinth, it has a stone effect finish to both the board and mounting, and the pieces can be stored under the board in the base when not in use.

To be honest, once you see this board set up, you'll probably want to leave it out on display rather than pack it away - it's an eye catcher and makes a great talking point!
