Well, we don't know about you, but here at The Groovy Company, all of us were given a chess board for Christmas at some point - one of those weird sets with shiny plastic pieces and a board with a green fuzzy base. It didn't inspire us to pick up the pieces (arf!) and become a Grand Master, but with this set, you won't be able to keep your hands off it!

This full size set is impeccably crafted from solid glass - both the board and the pieces. Instead of black and white, we have frosted and clear, and boy, does it look GOOD! This is great if you already play chess, or even if you want to learn - it even looks good on display as a talking point.
